Hospitality Coordinator Job Overview

We are seeking a full time hospitality coordinator to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning and coordination as well as experience working in the hospitality industry.  Responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning, including vendor management, budgeting and on-site coordination. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to customer service.  Someone who enjoys working with clients, has never met a stranger and is comfortable networking and promoting community and programming.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Promoting events with a strong sense of community 
  • Drafting internal communications to build loyalty and engagement that is supportive of the Us Living brand
  • Social media management. Story-telling, painting a picture of what life looks like at Us Living
  • Managing or member app (i.e content creation, updating, etc.)   
  • Form relationships with local businesses, fitness influencers, fashion houses, local F+B hotspots, park’s officials….all to lend programming/activation curation and support

Event Logistics

  • Organizing of event set-ups
  • Ordering necessary materials for events
  • Acting as a host during the event – making it a comfortable environment for someone new to the city/building
  • Collecting invoices/assisting with Net Vendor Set-up, ensuring payment is processed timely
  • Giving vendors access to the parking garage and building on date of event
  • Maintaining event budgets per month
  • Tracking event attendance and inviting feedback about programming to inform future content and scheduling

Member Relations / Ancillary Revenues

  • Engaging with new residents, as early as the property tour (and again during the move-in process)
  • Introduce new members to someone in the building with similar interests/age/career/etc.
  • Build engagement and member attendance at monthly events. 
  • Prepare reporting summaries on a monthly basis to track and measure effectiveness of programming 
  • Creating partnerships with Dog Walkers, Personal Shopping Services, Fitness Instructors, Car Detailers, Groomers, 

STR

  • Helping respond to daily inquiries via online distribution
  • Lending support pre-guest arrival
  • Greeting guest upon arrival and giving them a brief tour of the community
  • Walking unit post-stay 
  • Assisting in publishing guest reviews
  • Accounting for inventory and reconciling revenues/expenses for month-end

Hospitality Coordinator Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience working in the hospitality industry. Project management experience. Experience coordinating events. Strong attention to detail. Creative problem-solving skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems. Schedule will include evenings and weekends.
