Construction Intern Opportunity Overview
The Construction Intern is responsible for supporting the Construction Field Team and VP of Construction.
Construction Intern Role & Responsibilities
- Support project initiatives and functions, providing analysis, coordination, implementation, formal reporting and recommendations.
- Shadow multiple department members to gain understanding of individual roles in the department
- Work closely with the project teams to understand details of Construction requirements
- Manage daily reports from Subcontractors
- Manage RFI’s
- Manage Submittals
- Check in deliveries and record packing slips
- Upload plan revisions to Procore
- Assist in updating the MS Project schedule
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction related major.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, accurate, and self-motivated
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building
- Knowledge of PROCORE and MS Project is a plus
